The DogTrace d-fence invisible electronic fence is a very effective and modern system that allows one or more dogs to run freely in a delimited space, fenced or not. The wire can be placed on the ground, slightly buried (maximum 10 cm deep), or attached to an existing fence. In standby mode, the system waits for your dog to approach the forbidden zone (formed by an insulated wire functioning as an antenna). This zone is composed of a first part that serves as a warning, then a correction zone. If your dog crosses the first limit and enters the warning zone, it will receive an audible signal. If it continues and enters the correction zone, the collar will emit corrections through electric stimulations. As soon as the dog leaves the forbidden zone, the system returns to standby mode.
The widths of the warning and correction zones are easily adjustable from the generator to adapt to your terrain and your dog. With quick initial training, your dog will quickly learn to respect the limits imposed by the invisible fence. The system can work with an unlimited number of dogs by adding additional collars to the original pack.
