Swiveling Recoil Compensator for Delory Canardouze

Designed by gunsmith Delory-Brumard near the Bay of Somme, the swiveling recoil compensator for Delory Canardouze is entirely made in France. Intended to accommodate your hut scope (or half-binoculars) on your canardouze, this recoil compensator features a removable base. Similar to hunting rifle mounts, it allows you to quickly install/remove your hut scope without losing the setting. The compensator's joint has adjustable play via a tightening screw. Locking is quick and instinctive, even in the dark, using a swiveling lever. The fixed part, which fits onto the canardouze's rib, is held in place by 3 screws, requiring the rib of your weapon to be tapped. The compensator helps to reduce the perceived recoil in the optics and protects your brow when firing both shots simultaneously. The tension of the springs can be adjusted by moving the stops. The mount accommodating the optics is made of aluminum, while the base and the swiveling mechanism are made of steel.
