Following the recent events affecting Pulsar's production centers, supply delays are considerable, so we recommend opting for an equivalent device from the HikMicro brand such as the Gryphon GH35

Pulsar Helion XP38 Thermal Imaging Monocular

The Helion XP thermal imaging monocular range differs from the XQ models by enhanced performance. The Helion XP38 device offers a 38 mm lens. Its sensor offers a higher resolution than the XQ models, going from 384 x 288 px to 640 x 480 px, still with a 17 µm pixel. The XP38 model also features a zoom up to 15.2x. The 1.9x magnification is coupled with an 8x digital zoom.

The Helion XP38 monocular has a detection range of up to 1,350 meters. This means that a standard-sized heat source will be visible on the device up to nearly 1.4 km, even in total darkness. No fewer than 8 color palettes are available at the press of a finger, allowing the image and heat source representation to be adapted to the observed environment. The "Hot black" mode is particularly suitable for nighttime wildlife observation. The image rendering is mainly in light tones, while the heat source will appear in very dark tones. The "Sepia" mode is intended for long-distance and/or moving subject observations at night.

Live Broadcast on the Internet!

The Pulsar Helion XP38 thermal imaging monocular, like all models in the Helion range, has a Wi-Fi connection. This makes it possible to connect remotely with your smartphone. You will need to download the dedicated Stream-Vision application. Once installed on your smartphone, you will have access to multiple features.

The Helion XP38 device offers photo and video capture functions. It is, of course, possible to capture the image or sequence directly from the monocular and the "REC" button. The Stream-Vision application allows remote viewing of the image captured by the device. It also allows triggering the capture of a photo or recording a video, as well as live broadcasting on the internet.

The internal firmware update of the Helion XP38 monocular is done through the application. These updates are essential to benefit from the latest advancements and features offered by the manufacturer. Recently, Pulsar integrated the "Image Boost" function, which offers enhanced detail and perfect clarity of the subject.

The Pulsar Helion XP38 monocular operates using a 5,000 mAh Li-ion IPS5 battery. This provides the device with 8 hours of autonomy. It can be recharged outside the monocular using the provided 220V charger but also left in the monocular using the USB cord.
