What is a Clip-On? The Clip-On is a thermal imaging shooting module that attaches in front of a rifle scope's objective lens. Using its adapter ring, the Clip-On transforms your rifle scope into a thermal vision scope. It is undoubtedly the most versatile thermal optic as it can be used in Clip-On mode, as a simple monocular, and even as a standalone rifle scope. Indeed, the Thunder Pro TQ50C, when paired with an eyepiece, also features a shooting reticle. When installed in front of a rifle scope, the module uses the reticle of that scope, and a contactor under the adapter ring deactivates the native reticle on the Clip-On.

The HikMicro Thunder Pro TQ50C Module is exactly identical to the Thunder Pro TQ50 device, retaining the same characteristics. The difference lies in the adapter provided originally with the device: one is equipped with an eyepiece, while this current model, the TQ50C, is equipped with a ring on which an adapter ring for the objective lens of a rifle scope clips on.
