Axion 2 XQ35 PRO Thermal Imaging Monocular
The Axion 2 is a thermal monocular offering high image quality and advanced features. With its three sensitivity levels, reinforced magnesium alloy structure, highly sensitive Lynred sensor, fast aperture lens, and extended battery life, it is designed for versatile use in challenging conditions.
Three sensitivity levels: The Axion 2 offers three levels of signal amplification combined with a smoothing filter and precise contrast and brightness settings. This allows for high-quality rendering of target objects and background, providing excellent long-distance detection opportunities in various temperature and pressure conditions.
Reinforced magnesium alloy structure: The Axion 2 features a lightweight and sturdy magnesium alloy housing. This structure effectively protects internal components against shocks, drops, moisture, heat, or cold. The metal housing also efficiently dissipates heat from the electronics, minimizing image noise and ensuring consistent performance during prolonged observations.
Highly sensitive Lynred sensor: Axion 2 thermal monoculars are equipped with European Lynred sensors with a resolution of 384x288 pixels (17 µm pixel size) / 640x488 pixels (12 µm pixel size). These sensors qualitatively capture useful signals even in difficult observation conditions such as rain, fog, and high atmospheric humidity.
Fast aperture F35/1.0 lens: The Axion 2 is equipped with an F35/1.0 germanium lens offering high infrared transmission in the LWIR range. The high-precision manufacturing of the lens's optical elements ensures a clear and detailed image generated by the thermal monocular's sensor.
Extended battery life: The Axion 2 is powered by a high-capacity APS5 rechargeable battery, offering up to 11 hours of continuous operation on a single charge. The battery can be easily replaced and charged using a special charger or via USB-C from a PC, home power system, or power bank.
Enhanced WiFi connectivity: Axion 2 thermal monoculars feature WiFi connectivity with support for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. The 5 GHz band offers better bandwidth, faster data transfer, noise immunity, and increased connection stability, allowing for more productive use with a smartphone.
Detection range up to 1750 meters: Thanks to its powerful F35/1.0 lens and highly sensitive thermal sensors, the Axion 2 offers exceptional detection capabilities. It can detect a standard 1.8-meter-high object at a distance of up to 1750 meters in total darkness.
Compact dimensions and lightweight: The Axion 2 is designed with a reduced size and weighs only 300 grams, offering easy handling and comfortable use. Its symmetrical design and button layout on the top panel make it suitable for both right-handed and left-handed users.
More features: The Axion 2 offers variable magnification for improved focus, an integrated recorder for photos and videos with 16 GB of free storage in the Pulsar cloud, remote operation and firmware update via the Stream Vision 2 mobile app, quick start, IPX7 waterproof rating, high-contrast AMOLED screen, an 8-color palette for better observation, and enhanced WiFi connectivity with support for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands.
The Axion 2 is a compact and versatile thermal monocular offering exceptional image quality and a full range of advanced features, making it an ideal choice for hunting, wildlife observation, and other applications requiring high-performance thermal imaging.
